Financial literacy resources often feel antiquated and complex, making them unappealing and inaccesible to younger audiences.
Venmo, a popular and easy-to-use financial app, sought to create an educational series on topics relevant to their young customer base. While many other players within the fintech space occupy the role of a teacher speaking to students, we developed a concept that reflects the unique, community-oriented essence of Venmo’s brand — a circle of peers (facilitated by pop culture icon, Cordae) sharing relatable financial questions, thoughts, and answers.
I led naming (“Money Talks”) and strategy for the concept of this series alongside the creative team at The New Company.
