What I Offer —

Brand Strategy

Your story is your strategy — it's what mobilizes and unifies all of your stakeholders, internal and external alike. Rally your team and your audience around a clear, repeatable story about why you exist and why it matters. This work includes —

Brand Intake, Competitive Analysis, Consumer Insights, Brand Positioning, Brand Story, Mission, Vision, Values, Tagline (optional)

Messaging

Building on our brand strategy work, we'll create a messaging house that guides your team on what to say and where to say it. The messaging house is a framework that you can use to drive consistent messaging across channels and audiences. This work includes —

Naming

Naming is a simple way to make your story stick, but naming a brand, product, or program can be a painfully subjective process. Together, we'll go through a fun, structured exercise that leads to a name that feels right and checks off key strategic criteria. This work includes —

Voice Guidelines

Once you have a strong brand story and messaging architecture in place, the challenge is to equip members across your team to communicate in a consistent way. Creating voice guidelines gives your team a clear playbook on how to write about your brand and business. This work includes —

Voice and Tone Framework, Writing Goals, Grammar and Mechanics, Glossary of Terms

Copywriting

Who I Work With —

Categories

Although I love telling different kinds of stories, there are a few categories that I hold close to my heart including mental and physical health (women’s health in particular), travel, food, fashion, education, music, and entertainment.

Sizes

From a business of one to Fortune 500 companies, I’ve worked with a range of organizations. Regardless of size, the sweet spot for me is joining a team with a startup mentality — either you’re trying to crack the story on a new product or brand, or you’re refreshing a narrative that feels outdated.

Teams

While my background is in marketing, my favorite projects have been highly holistic and cross-functional. I love working with a variety of teams including creative, product, and research teams, as well as small startup crews where everyone does a little bit of everything.

Individuals

As an introvert, I will always make room for projects that allow me to get to know you one-on-one. Whether you’re working on a book, a blog, or your personal brand, I’d love to hear about your project and chat about how I can help.

Volunteering

If you run a nonprofit organization in need of support, please reach out. Especially if storytelling is at the heart of what you do, I’d love to work together.
